Find Your Meditation Community

The Alabama Meditation Network includes partners with long-time practitioners, as well as beginners, from a variety of communities and traditions. These groups have a priority of welcoming and teaching meditation to new practitioners. These partners (listed below) regularly practice meditation as a group, and are open to everyone regardless of gender, race, religion, economic status, and sexual orientation.[*]

*NOTE: Most AMN partners have no fee for participation though some have a fee for all or special classes. Check each partner website for details.

Refunds will be available up to two weeks before the retreat.

Later cancelations receive a retreat credit.

Meditation:

Any form of present moment practice which has a foundation of body and breath awareness.

Meditation Community:

Any entity that provides group meditation in a community of equanimity, compassion and acceptance, regardless of gender, race, economic status, or sexual orientation.
