Saturday

8:30am: Check-in, cushion/chair placement.
9:00am: Opening introduction, meditation instruction, & light breakfast snacks.
9:30am: Guided meditation & mindful walking
11:00am: Shamatha Yoga (Lujong) or Chair Yoga
12:00pm: Meditation/Body Scan/ Q & A
1:00pm: Lunch/Eating meditation
2:00pm: Small group discussion
3:00pm: Guided meditation & mindful walking

Directions

To aid in our meditation, we focus on clean eating with delicious and satisfying vegetarian meals.

Bring your:

  • Meditation cushion (Chairs will be available if you prefer to sit in a chair)
  • Mat (Zabuton) or folded up blanket to go under your cushion


Don’t have a cushion or mat?
Please bring a blanket to fold and have under a cushion. We will have a few extras at the retreat for you to use.

Option: Purchase a cushion and mat before the retreat either at The Golden Temple in Southside or buy a set on Amazon.

*IF you have an extra cushion, mat or meditation bench, please bring it to share with someone who doesn’t have one.

Financial Assistance Request

Everyone needs help from time to time, and we will do everything we can to help those who need it. We have a limited scholarship fund; please help us understand your need so we can determine what we can do for you.

Retreat Cancellation Policy

Refunds will be available up to two weeks before the retreat.

Later cancelations receive a retreat credit.
