About BRSZ

The life of BRSZ is grounded in the practice of zazen, or seated meditation in the Soto Zen tradition.

Members meet to practice together twice each week, sitting for thirty minutes, then chanting the Repentance Verse, the Three Refuges Verse, the Heart Sutra, and the Universal Transference of Merit. While the community practices together just twice a week, our basic mission is to support one another in the daily and lifelong individual practice of zazen.
